Protecting our Mountain View treasured and endangered wildlife like the burrowing owls, monarchs and our little salt harvest mouse are imperative to any biodiversity plan. I hope the city will be sure we keep these special creatures and preserve Mountain Views legacy for future generations.

Hey, Sam! Have you volunteered with my group--The Guardian Project? We've been continuing to show up despite our missing biologists so now we're the only ones managing the area, which, yes, is terrifying since none of us are specialists and we're not getting much support from the Parks&Rec team, but we need to hold down the fort as we continue to fight to get our biologists back! If you're not on my mailing list yet, you can join here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfpZ96rESboCejMbXWZZn3RDDsTS3zAbhflQ-uDRMZGRD8AvA/viewform
